I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Mesh addressing and routing
Mesh routing operates in the physical and data link layers to allow packets to flow through a dynamic mesh using multiple hops. We previously talked about mesh-under and route-over routing, but we will go somewhat deeper in this section on that form of routing.
6LoWPAN mesh networks utilize two schemes for routing:
- Mesh-under network: In a mesh-under topology, routing is transparent and assumes a single IP subnet representing the entirety of the mesh.
