I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Failover and out-of-band management
Failover is a critical feature for certain IoT edge routers, particularly for moving vehicles and patient care applications. Failover, as the name implies, is switching from one WAN interface to another when a primary source is lost. Loss of WAN could be attributed to the loss of cellular connectivity in a tunnel. A logistics company with a fleet of cold storage trucks may need to guarantee connectivity where cellular service varies nationwide. A failover from one cellular provider to another by use of multiple SIM identities can help mitigate and smooth over connectivity.
