I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Summary
Routers and gateway play an integral role in IoT development. The functionality provided by an edge router allows for enterprise-level of security, routing, resiliency, and quality of service. The gateway plays an important role in translating non-IP networks into the IP-based protocols necessary for internet and cloud connectivity. It is also important to realize that the growth of IoT to billions of nodes will take shape with low cost and constrained electronics.
