It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Tab Bar Controller
The Tab Bar Controller shows up at the bottom of iPhone apps and allows the user to choose between different screens in the app. This user interface is used in many common apps, including the built-in GameCenter app (see Figure 10.1).
