I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Bottleneck management
One of the barriers to synchronisation of supply chain activities is the presence of bottlenecks which can impede the smooth flow through the systems. Every system will have a bottleneck which determines the rate of output of the system. It follows therefore that the effective management of bottlenecks is critical. Even if a bottleneck is removed, by definition another one will appear.
A significant contribution to the way in which we view bottlenecks has been made by Goldratt,5 who developed the theory of constraints, sometimes known as optimised production technology (OPT).
