I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Starting Your Computer with Mac OS 9.x
If you plan to do a lot of work with Classic applications, you may want to start your computer with Mac OS 9.x and work without using Mac OS X at all. You can do this by selecting your Mac OS 9.x System Folder as the startup disk and restarting your computer.
✓ Tips
Not all Macintosh models can start from Mac OS 9.x. If you bought your computer in 2003 or later, it probably can’t. You can, however, run Mac OS 9 applications in the Classic environment.
You may find that some large and complex Classic applications work a bit better on an older Macintosh model when you start with Mac OS 9.x.
