I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

- Find out what version of Mac OS 9 I’m running?
In the Classic environment, use
→ Apple System Profiler → System Profile panel; look in the System overview section.
- See whether Classic is running?
System Preferences → Classic → Start/Stop; look for a bolded message that says “Classic is not running” or “Classic is running on...(path to Mac OS 9’s System Folder)”
- Launch Classic?
System Preferences → Classic → Start/Stop → click on the Start button
- Quit Classic?
System Preferences → Classic → Start/Stop → click on the Stop button
- Restart Classic?
System Preferences → Classic → Start/Stop → click on the Restart button
System Preferences → Classic → Advanced → click on the Restart Classic button
- Set a keyboard shortcut for starting and restarting Classic?
System Preferences → Classic → Advanced → Startup Options → select “Use Key Combination:” from the pop-up menu and enter a keyboard shortcut (up to five keys) in the text field
- Keep the Classic icon in the Dock?
Control-click on the Classic icon while Classic is starting up and select Keep In Dock from its context menu
- Start Classic automatically when I start up my computer?
System Preferences → Classic → Start/Stop → select the checkbox next to “Start Classic when you log in”
- Rebuild Classic/Mac OS 9’s Desktop without booting into Mac OS 9?
