Synopsis

Remove a menu extra from the menu bar?

Command-click on the icon and drag it off the menu bar.

Switch the position of a menu extra with another?

Command-click on the icon and drag it left or right; the other menu extra icons will move out of the way, giving you room to drop the icon where you want it to be.
