System Preferences → Displays → Display panel

Get a menu extra in the menu bar for changing my display’s settings?

System Preferences → Displays → select the checkbox next to “Show displays in menu bar”

Configure the settings for a second monitor?

System Preferences → Displays → Detect Displays

Click on the Displays icon in the menu bar → Detect Displays

Change the display from color to grayscale?

System Preferences → Universal Access → Seeing → click on the “Set Display to Grayscale” button

Enlarge the display?

System Preferences → Universal Access → Turn On Zoom → use Option-

-+ to zoom in and Option-

- - to zoom out
