Synopsis

vm_stat [interval]

Displays Mach virtual memory statistics. The default view, without a specified interval, shows accumulated statistics. If interval is specified, vm_stat will list the changes in each statistic every interval seconds, showing the accumulated statistics for each item in the first line.
