-4-Spacebar (this will change the pointer from a set of crosshairs to a camera) → move the camera over the Dock (the Dock will become gray, as if it were selected) → click the mouse button

Applications → Preview → File → Open → select the file and click on the Open button → File → Export → Format → select JPEG from the pull-down menu → click on the Save button

Take a screenshot of the topmost window, including its shadow?
