-H (for Hold Color) holds the RGB value in the application window

Copy an RGB color value from an image and paste it into an HTML document?

Open the image with Preview Launch DigitalColor Meter select “RGB A Hex Value, 8-bit” from the pull-down menu move the mouse pointer over an area in the image Shift-

-C (for Copy Color) switch to the text editor you’re using to edit the HTML page
