How you choose to install Windows depends on what is already on the server, where the installation files are, and how many installations you have to do.
If you need to perform only a few installations, you can manually install Windows, either from within an existing copy of Windows or by booting from the Windows CD-ROM.
If you need to perform multiple installations, you can create unattended answer files to automate the setup process, use Sysprep to clone a computer with Windows and applications already installed, or use Remote Installation Services (RIS) to perform automated installations from across the network (RIS is discussed in Chapter 27).
