I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
What Is a Bottleneck?
Simply put, a bottleneck is a condition in which one resource is preventing another resource from functioning at its best. For example, when one application monopolizes the system processor to the exclusion of all other operations, there is a bottleneck at the processor. Bottlenecks can occur in virtually any Windows subsystem or on any element of the network.
Bottlenecks might occur for any of several reasons:
Resources are not sharing workloads equally.
The system does not have sufficient resources.
Settings are configured incorrectly.
A resource is malfunctioning.
A program is monopolizing a particular resource.
