When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Adding and Troubleshooting Devices
One of the first things to do after installing Microsoft Windows Server 2003, or any operating system for that matter, is check to make sure devices are recognized and properly configured. Although Windows Server 2003 Setup usually does a superb job of detecting and configuring devices, Setup isn’t able to resolve resource conflicts or overcome a lack of drivers. You also need to enable any devices that were disconnected or disabled before starting the installation, such as an uninterruptible power supply (UPS).
To add a Plug and Play (PnP) device, plug it in and provide the drivers, if necessary. Yes, it’s that simple. To check for device configuration problems, use Device Manager; to add a non-PnP device, ...
