Recently, while reading the ever-excellent Mac OS Hints site (http://www.macoshints.com), I stumbled across a write-up of the KeyCue utility (http://www.macility.com, $12). When running, KeyCue provides an up-to-date summary of all the keyboard shortcuts available for an application. To use KeyCue, hold down the Command key (⌘). After a second or two (you set the delay in KeyCue’s preferences), a floating window pops up, summarizing an application’s available shortcuts. As Figure 8-29 shows, KeyCue shows both built-in and user-customized shortcuts.
