In this chapter we explore some of the most important aspects for optimizing the performance of a Fusion Middleware environment. Now that we have reviewed the steps for the deployment of the pricing application’s components as well as the creation of a secure environment in the last two chapters, the next natural provisioning step in our path is the optimization of the environment to allow the application to make effective use of available hardware resources and to achieve its intended performance goals.
