Conclusion
In this chapter we reviewed three important areas concerning the monitoring and diagnostics capabilities of Fusion Middleware. We began with a detailed discussion of the two Fusion Middleware logging infrastructures: the WebLogic Server logging service and the Oracle Diagnostics Logging (ODL) service. We discussed how these two logging services relate to each other as well as the structure and content of the log messages they produce. We then continued by exploring the WebLogic Diagnostics Framework, a comprehensive set of services that facilitate the analysis and monitoring of WebLogic Server–based components.
