Now that we have completed our overview of the optimization of the JVM and WebLogic Server layers, we can turn our attention to the Fusion Middleware shared infrastructure components, which we covered in Chapter 3. Specifically, we will consider the optimization of two components within this layer: Oracle Web Services Manager (OWSM) and Metadata Services (MDS).
