I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

There are many sources of help for PHP. At php.net/support.php, you will find an overview of all possible sources, including the online manual (php.net/manual) and a number of mailing lists (php.net/mailing-lists.php). At the latter URL, you can even register for participation in the mailing lists (see Figure 3.16). You will receive a confirmation email with an opt-in confirmation link. You will then be activated for the mailing list (a spam protection measure).
But remember that mailing lists live from the give and take of all participants. Observe the usual rules of courtesy in mail correspondence: remain friendly and factual, always provide minimized listings in case of problems (and not 100 lines of code, of which ...
