I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
21.2 Microsoft SQL Server Driver for PHP
Microsoft has been active at PHP conferences for many years, promoting web servers (IIS), databases (SQL Server), and cloud technology (Azure) from Redmond, among other things. The company's position is of course somewhat delicate, as it also produces ASP.NET, one of PHP's main competitors.
However, many of Microsoft's contributions to PHP development are very well received by the community. These include the significantly improved Windows builds.
