So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

One way to influence the look of a headshot is to vary the angle between your model and the camera. The images on this page demonstrate four torso angles. Get your model to look in different directions and combine these with various facial expressions. He can use his hands, too, if he likes. Playing with his jacket or assuming a “thinker” pose can create great hand variations.
