It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Fingernails and hands are an important part of many beauty shots, and this pose shows a number of different ways to approach this kind of assignment. One tried-and-trusted pose is this slight variation on #006. As usual in beauty situations, the model’s hands need to appear light and graceful. To achieve this effect, she should fan her fingers elegantly or use just one finger. Make sure she doesn’t cover too much of her chin (see the Key Lesson on page 32).
