You should aim to have both your models take up equal amounts of space within the frame. If both face the camera directly, they will crowd the image. If the breadth of the man’s body threatens to dominate the image, you can vary the pose so that one model is standing head-on while the other shows a profile. This trick evens out the weighting of the two bodies and produces a more balanced image.
