LUN or mount point is becoming full (80–85 percent or greater), it is time to add another. If the overall
ability of the array to absorb additional IOPS is being reached, it is time to look at the addition of an
additional array or to upgrade the existing array to be able to process more I/O. Neither of these
conditions necessarily warrants a new Media Server—neither space nor array performance additions
simply imply the potential of an additional device within a DSU.
