I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Prerequisites
To set up any OS on this SBC, you will need the following hardware components:
- An SD card
- Rated power supply
- Optional case (to avoid electrostatic contact)
In terms of software requirements, assuming you're on your Ubuntu laptop, you would need an open source OS image writer called Etcher. You can download it from this website: https://www.balena.io/etcher/. There is no installation for this software, so once downloaded, extract the file to the necessary location and simply execute the file.
