Tim Berners-Lee invented—the protocol that enables us to surf websites—to create an easy way to share information with his fellow colleagues via the Internet. At its core, the Internet is about sharing. Whether its recipes, comics, health information, events, or photos and videos, the essence of what we do on the Internet is about sharing.
