Anhand eines Fallbeispiels illustrieren wir einige Aspekte des im Buch beschriebenen Beratungsprozesses wie auch der eingesetzten Prozesswerkzeuge. Wir betrachten die Einführung von Scrum bei einem Unternehmen aus der Finanzbranche mit der methodischen Unterstützung durch ein Beratungshaus mit ca. 15 Beratern. Die Berater stecken dabei den gesamten Bereich agiler Softwareentwicklung ab – von der Analyse bis zur Softwareentwicklung und zum agilen Projektmanagement nach Scrum – und können hier fünf bis zehn Jahre Erfahrung vorweisen. Eine kurze Übersicht zu Scrum finden Sie im Anhang A.3 ab Seite 264.
