The scheduling activity at Infosys can be broken into two subactivities: determining the overall schedule (the project duration) with major milestones, and developing the detailed schedule of the various tasks.

As discussed earlier in the chapter, you can gain some flexibility in determining the schedule by controlling the staffing level, but this flexibility is limited.
