So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Upper Saddle River, NJ: Prentice Hall, 2001.This comprehensive textbook may be slow going for some managers, but it offers a high payoff in terms of articulate, practical guidance on all aspects of supply chain management, and its excellent organization makes it easy to read selectively.
Jeremy Shapiro , Modeling the Supply Chain. Pacific Grove, CA: Duxbury/Wadsworth Group, 2001.For those with the necessary background, this is the best available treatment on the application of linear programming and other mathematical techniques to supply chain management.
