It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
About the Cover
The image on the cover of this book is Kroeber Series #39 by photographer Jay Dunitz. In 1980 Dunitz discovered a jumble of discarded metal scraps left to the elements by sculpture students at the University of California at Berkeley. By rearranging these pieces and photographing them in bright sunlight, Dunitz created transient sculptures of his own that are now preserved in his book Pacific Light, published by Beyond Words in 1989. This is the third book by David Taylor to be graced by an image from the Kroeber Series, the first being his internationally acclaimed Object Technology: A Manager's Guide.
