Alvin Toffler once wrote a famous book called Future
Shock. Its premise was that ever-accelerating change would
have a shocking effect on people.
Time has proven his predictions to be very accurate. But
what he left out was the impact on corporations of accelerat-
ing change. It has been just as traumatic.

have been challenged or even brought to their knees by
