Learning to weed out the b.s.
I remember looking at photos on Instagram and thinking how much I sucked at photography. Sound familiar? I’m sure I’m not alone here. I would scroll through my feed looking at shots perfectly lit with off-camera flashes and wonder why there wasn’t any light spill at all. Or, why the subjects’ faces had the most perfect light graduation with absolutely no flaws.
It wasn’t until a friend of mine was listening to me lament about it that I found out just how much I had been deceived.
