Training Analytics Specifications
Introduction
After you have implemented a measurement program for several years, you will reach a point at which you want to use the data you are collecting for detailed reports and analysis. You will start to analyze measures by audience, program, geography, tenure with your company, and more. If you are a retailer, for example, you are likely to want to aggregate data by store, region, district, state, and country. Most LMS systems are not well equipped to create these reports. In this case, you probably want to specify or build an “analytics” application for your training data. This part of the book will help you—it is a “specification” you can use to help design or buy such a system.
