After twenty-five years in the technology industry, I can now look back and empathize with all the people I drove crazy—mostly IT managers. Let’s face it, software engineers are usually hired to build things quickly, not fix the sociotechnical issues of the larger organization. And yet, that is what I have found myself drawn to time and time again.
