A major part of clarity of purpose is value. We start spinning our flywheel by talking about purpose, but what we really mean is delivering value. Unfortunately, value is one of the most overused words in business. The concept of shortening time to market is not new, but we assume that the value of our product has already been identified before we hit the market. With modern cloud systems, it’s tempting to get to market very quickly and skip discovery. But the delivery of a feature does not necessarily mean that we have discovered its value.
