In this chapter, we learned about service registry and discovery. We went through the when, what, and why of service discovery and understood the service registry and discovery patterns. We saw the pros and cons of each pattern and the available options for each of them. Then, we implemented service discovery and registry using Eureka, Consul, and service registrator.
