3.2.7 FlashCopy rules
There is a per I/O group limit of 16 TB on the quantity of source virtual disk
address space that may participate in FlashCopy mappings. This address space
is allocated in units of 8 GB, that is, creating a FlashCopy mapping between a
pair of virtual disks whose size is less than 8 GB consumes 8 GB of FlashCopy
mapping address space.
The maximum number of FlashCopy mappings that are supported is 512, which
is half the maximum number of vDisks, 1024, that are currently supported. This
