Choosing the right programming language

This choice is not always obvious when developing an application or a game. While your own knowledge does play a major role in choosing the language to use, so do the requirements of the application or game and your team’s knowledge. This step should be done in tandem with the next step before finalizing the decision, as your research may determine that the language that you prefer doesn’t have the proper libraries or capabilities for developing the particular game or application you want.
