Summary

There are a couple of methods for setting up the wireless router in your home network. It’s getting easier and easier to do so.

The Linksys Setup Wizard is an easy way to set up the network initially but does not provide a good way to make ongoing changes.

Using an Internet browser to access and change the router settings provides access to all the settings in the router. At some point you will likely have to change a setting that the other setup utilities do not enable you to change, so it’s a good idea to be familiar with this method even if you use an automated program (like the Setup Wizard or EasyLink Advisor) to set up the wireless network.
