So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Summary
Signal degradation can occur with your wireless network, causing slowdowns or difficulty making connections at all. The most common causes are a nearby conflicting wireless router or another device in your home, such as a cordless phone, that causes interference.
Before assuming the wireless network is causing a slowdown, make sure your broadband service is performing the way your subscription says it should. Also make sure your perceptions are accurate—are you making a bad assumption that upgrading to a faster router will give you faster Internet access?
