Event stream processing patterns
In event stream processing, ordinary events that occur are filtered for notability and sent to subscribers. This style is used in order to ensure that real-time information flows in and around the enterprise. This pattern facilitates real-time decision-making.
Let us demonstrate this type of event further with the help of the order processing example that we have been discussing in this chapter. In the order processing example, if we consider the sequence of events at the warehouse, the RFID sensor generates an event for each product that moves out of the warehouse.
