I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Multiple service instances per host pattern
Microservices are generally small in size and hence are quickly built, tweaked, composed, and deployed. The availability and throughput of microservices are important. Redundancy is one widely used aspect for guaranteeing high availability and throughput. That is, each service is deployed as a set of service instances.
The beauty of microservices is that services can be implemented using different programming languages and frameworks. As articulated in the beginning, microservices can be independently deployable and horizontally scalable.
