So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Health check API pattern
The health check has been an important part of the IT industry. All kinds of software and hardware systems are being regularly checked for their health. It is the same with microservices. Services are running, but sometimes, they are unable to handle service requests due to various reasons. In these circumstances, the service monitoring system has to generate an alert and send it to the operational team to act upon in real time.
