Capacity planning is an important factor in realizing highly optimized IT infrastructures and resources for meeting the various tricky demands of applications. If not properly done, then there is a possibility of getting into the issue of resource constraints. When more cloud consumers try to access a shared IT resource, which does not have the capacity to fulfill the consumers' processing needs, then this condition of resource constraint creeps in.
