I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Prism
Prism is a framework that is built using the MVVM pattern. It helps in the design and development of flexible and easy to maintain Windows presentation foundation (WPF) desktop applications. It also helps to build rich internet applications using the Microsoft Silverlight Browser plugin. The following are the key features of the Prism framework:
- It uses architectural pattern that supports important design concepts such as separation of concerns and loosely coupled components.
- Prism helps in the design of code snippets/components that can be easily integrated to form an application. Applications of this type which are formed by integrating components are called composite applications.
