So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Downstream event-driven activity
Any event can trigger a sequence of downstream activities that could be a response to the event. The event could be a push notification by the event processing engine or pull notifications by the subscribers. Subscribers in this context could refer to an application, humans, services, or business processes.
