I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Traditional application architecture versus cloud application architecture
As articulated previously, we are heading towards SDCEs that comprise software-defined compute (SDC), software-defined storage (SDS), and software-defined networking (SDN). The virtualization and containerization enable software-defined clouds towards workload-aware and elastic infrastructures. The maneuverability or programmability, consumability, accessibility, sustainability, and simplicity of software-defined clouds are greater compared to the inflexible infrastructures. There are new patterns (architecture and design) being introduced for cloud infrastructures and applications.
