Workplace learning happens when people learn where they work (‘on-the-job’) by gaining experience, observation (social learning), formal training (instruction) or coaching. As Charles Jennings of the 70:20:10 Institute cited by Daly and Ahmetaj (2020: 42) commented: ‘In an ever-changing world, learning leaders need to focus their efforts where they can have greatest impact.
