I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Introduction
When I started this project, I had two requirements and I strived throughout the book to balance both of them. My first requirement comes from being an instructor and consultant for 10 years now. In that time, I have found a consistent void with most of my students and clients. It is not that clients are unwilling to implement new technologies. It is not that students are unable to learn about new technologies. The void is between those two. You learn about new technologies, but often the knowledge you gain does not provide a solid understanding of where in the network the new technology resides.
